Helping HandsList Item 1
Chairperson: Mick Bianco
The mission of St. Stanislaus Helping Hands is to minister to the poor and marginalized in our community. The ministry assists our brothers and sisters by providing them with non-perishable food. Every two weeks we also offer eggs and bread. It also provides them with necessary assistance with special needs such as medical, material or spiritual. We ask for your generous support by providing non-perishable food items. They may be placed in the basket provided in the Church Gathering Area.
-
Meals on WheelsList Item 2
Chairperson: Carolyn Cash
The Ladies Guild and Social Ministries groups share the Meals on Wheels Ministry. On the second Saturday of each month, they alternate cooking and packaging meals for the shut-ins in the Castle Hayne area. The Knights of Columbus members deliver the meals.

Holiday Giving:
An annual Giving Tree project where tags with specific gift items are placed on a tree for several families and individuals. Also, presents for residents at a local nursing home and gifts for the people who are helped by Helping Hands.

Future Goals:
Social Ministries plans to visit the home bound and Nursing Home residents of our Parish on a regular schedule. We also plan to volunteer at a soup kitchen, and also continue to financially assist the Help Hands Ministry.
Please contact the parish office if you are interested in assisting with these ministries.
